Azita Ghanizada
Azita Ghanizada is the Afghan American actress in the United States who has appeared in numerous television series. She is an actress from Afghanistan who was born in Kabul Afghanistan. After fleeing the country she was born in the family relocated to the US. The family was granted asylum, and were allowed to remain. Her family was brought up within Northern Virginia and is the second child in a family with two older sisters. Her career on air began with a string of National Commercials. Ghanizada was portrayed by Chiara in Laura Neri film A Kiss on the Nose (2003). To commemorate the performance, she was nominated in the festival's Cannes Film Festival, for Best Actress. Television guest-starring roles comprise How I Met Your Mother Veronica Mars the Wedding Bells NuMB3RS bones Psych and Castle. She most recently had the role of a support actress in the science-fiction action movie Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada began her career in the General Hospital Prime-Time spinoff General Hospital. Season 2 of Nightshift saw Ghanizada as the role of Dr. Saira Bhatra, a specialist in holistic medical practices. Ghanizada appeared as Kelly who was the Prada character on HBO's Entourage.
