Burns made her debut in television in 1995 as Peg the Spanish-American teenager in the show Out of the Blue. Burns began her television career in 1995, when she joined the cast of the spanish-American teenage sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). She later starred in Baywatch: Hawaii, the sequel to the Baywatch action-packed series. Burns left Baywatch due to the first pregnancy she had.
